Layer Create

Description:

Creates a new view layer. Safe to run twice - if a layer with the given name already exists (real, or created within the same graph), it is reused rather than duplicated.

Properties:

• Layer Name - name for the view layer.
• Mode
  • New - Blender's default new-layer settings.
  • Copy Settings - copies pass flags and material override from a source layer.
  • Blank - eplicates Blender's own Blank option: every collection is excluded from the new layer, so it renders nothing until collections are opted back in.

Usage Notes:

• To add your created layers to the main data flow use the Merge node in Layer mode.
