Move to Collection

IN - Collection (Source Collection) activates when Move from Collection is toggled.

IN - Collection (Target Collection)

Description:

Moves or links items - objects and/or collections - into a target collection.

Properties:

• Modes
  • Move - the target becomes the item's only place: source links are removed, including stale duplicates.
  • Link - additive: items keep their original collection(s) and gain a link in Target. For collections this means a second parent - the collection appears under both.
• Move from Collection(toggle)- switches Items to a single Source Collection input; its direct children and objects move as a unit.
• Move Children(toggle)- When moving something it also moves objects parented under any moved object (recursive, live-scene parenting).

<aside> ⚠️

Move to Collection moves only what’s specified. Meaning if you have “Collection A” with “Collection B” inside it will only move Collection A with nested Objects, but will leave Collection B and it’s objects in place. Unless you have move children ticked or you included children in Filter pattern.
